QUEEN KWONG RELEASES "BAD LIEUTENANT"

Bad Lieutenant is the debut EP by LA based band Queen Kwong. It fuses the best traits of punk and grunge with the contrasting delicate breathy vocals of lead vocalist and guitarist Carré Callaway.

The original recordings of the Bad Lieutenant EP lie in the basement of a studio in downtown New York. Why you might ask? Well they simply weren’t raw enough. In an effort to capture the characteristics that have come to define Queen Kwong’s music, Carré trashed the initial studio recordings and locked herself in a bathroom with a laptop loaned to her by close friend Trent Reznor. Recorded in single takes, she captured the moment with all the flaws and sonic “imperfections” that make this EP a truly sincere and rare piece of rock n’ roll!

“This EP is simple; it is me with no edits or cover-ups.” Carré Callaway, Queen Kwong
